2017 Accessibility Summit
March 24 - March 25
Registration is now open for the 2017 Accessibility Summit. For those of you who are unfamiliar with this event, it is a conference for the special needs community, held at McLean Bible Church. This year, the summit will take place on March 24th and 25th.
The Summit is excited to welcome guest speakers Joni Eareckson Tada (via satellite) on Friday evening and Ms. Saundra Adams on Saturday morning. Joni is the Founder of Joni and Friends and a tremendous advocate for individuals with special needs around the world. Saundra is raising her grandson, Lee, who was born prematurely 17 years ago and with cerebral palsy, after his mother was shot. Lee’s father, Rae Carruth, a former NFL player, is serving a prison sentence for his role in her death.
In addition to hearing these 2 dynamic ladies speak, conference attendees will be able to attend 4 workshops from a choice of 40 presentations. This is a wonderful opportunity to gather information and attend workshops led by experts in the field. Workshop topics vary from special education issues to self-advocacy to communication and financial planning, just to name a few. There will also be 60 vendors representing products and services for the special needs community.
Jill’s House families can take advantage of a generous discount to attend the summit. Use Promo Code JILL17 and pay only $65.00 for the entire weekend. Use this link to learn more and register now!
